Prosorb Humidity Control - Sachets & Beads

Prosorb is a moisture sensitive silica gel capable of both absorbing and desorbing moisture, making it ideal for stabilising relative humidity within an enclosed space (such as museum display cases or storage cabinets). Previously branded PELsorb, same specification material.

Sachets are sealed units ready to use, made from; one-side Tyvek 1073 (tear-resistant, dust-proof, vapour-permeable) / one-sided LDPE. Loose beads can be placed into your own containers or cassettes.

Pre-conditioned to maintain a 45 / 50/ 55 % RH (Relative Humidity) level and can operate effectively for 5 years or more.
Available as loose beads (5 kilo drum), or as sachets of beads (500gm), sachets measure 350 x 150 x 20 mm.
Place around the perimeter of the case, or in a drawer. Use 1 sachet or 500g of beads per 0.7 cubic metres, more may be required for dependent upon design of display case (multiply cubic feet by 0.02832 to get cubic metres).
Shipped in aluminium containers that are both moisture and airtight to ensure it arrives in perfect condition for use.
Can be placed in our stainless humidity cassettes (see accessories below)
Can be reconditioned with clay reconditioning packs (see accessories below)
