The Steam Cleaner offers highly controllable cleaning with steam, heat and pressure providing a gentle, chemical free, method to clean a multitude of surfaces. Previously known as the 'Derotor' Steam cleaner.
Steam cleaning is an effective and quick cleaning method using water which turns into steam under pressure. This portable machine does not saturate the object and can be used on, for example; high-fired ceramics such as porcelain avoiding areas of fragility. The handle and nozzle which emits jets of steam, connected by hose from the machine, is directed at the object's surface to remove ingrained dirt in cracks, textured surfaces and to help soften previous restoration adhesive. Conservators find these units useful for various works in stone, sculpture, archaeological, wall papers and other areas of conservation.
- Extra long hose 1.75m allows the unit to stand on the floor if required, or reach the extremities of large sculptures and objects
- When used on an appropriate object, the steam cleaner can quickly and easily remove ingrained dirt, old adhesives and more without the need for harmful solvents or abrasives
- Will not saturate the object and can be used on a variety of heat resistant surfaces
- Choice of tank size, either; 3 (75GV) or 5 (75GV6) litres depending on the model
